Not worth the school fees. It's more about being rich than building a tradition like affies or boy's high have.
lots of patting on the back for 100% pass rate but should the bar not be higher than that. ..how many distinctions where achieved in 2015. Have a look at the model c school results on that...for far less per year.

Primary education not of standard NEW

The primary schools level of education is not up to standard. I moved my son from Tyger Valley and at the new school the teachers are giving him extra classes to bring him up to standard.

I find the primary school expects parents to be doing a lot in the school. As a full time working parent I do not have the time to be involved in running things at school. With the heavy school fees the school (teachers) should be managing everything.

Tygervalley college is a great school but expects a lot from children.They should rather talk to the children if there is an accedemic problem rather than go to parents without sitting the child down and talking to them! Grade 8s of 2013 Ayeye papa Ayeye!!

I think everyone his or her opinion regarding a school but i will never take my child to a model c school after discovering how good Tyger Valley. Ask your model c grade 1 child if she knows if ladybugs hibernate or for how long they live. Tyger Valley is the boss.

Best school I have ever encountered teachers are passionate and kids very happy. My 2 kids have been at TVC for 5 years and would not change them for any place.
Make the right choice send them to this awesome school.
But don't take my word phone and make a appointment and go on a tour you will be amazed that schools like this exists!

This school puts it's children first and gets everyone involved.

People who moan about it and say children are better in model c schools are jealous and honestly know nothing about the school.

The parents, teachers and children all treat each other with respect and the curriculum is fantastic.

Bad mouthing a school of this stature is a political tactic and a silly one at that. It is a great school.

I will NOT recommend Tyger Valley College to any parent . You will make a VERY BIG Mistake to send your child to this school. You will be better off in a model C school.
