Very poor aftercare and support for working parents NEW

Children only get their cooked lunch at 15h00. From Grade 3 they are not allowed to go to aftercare until after 15h00. If your child is on ADHD medication their medication will aready have worn off by this time and homework will become a problem at this stage. They do not provide qualified teachers to check that the homework is done correctly and assist the aftercare children. This means that late at night when you are tired and you child is tired you need to spend extensive time on corrections and redoing the homework. The aftercare children have no access to computers and the school has no library so you still need to do reseach, mathletic and reading eggs late at night aswell. If you are a working professional looking for a school with quality aftercare support and services I would not recommend Southdowns.
