Hello Pretoria Lover,Phew!!! Where do I start. It's been a long few months of me sorting my life out. It turns out I'm not as efficient as I'd love to be. On a personal note: I found my son in a corner praying "please God, I will do anything you want". Turned out he was praying for a puppy. Despite daddy's dog owning phobia we booked a puppy from our neighbour's pregnant dog, Lhelhe. A few weeks later a tragedy stroke. Lhelhe was in labour for more than a day and an emergency caesarean section had to be performed by a veterinarian in my neighbour's home. And sadly, all seven puppies didn't make it. Now, how does one explain this in a 6 year old's language. Talking of puppies, you can still enter your pet in our Pet Model Contest. We also have developed a great ebook, Pretoria Shopping Mall Guide for your Christmas shopping. You can mall hop all you want this season, we are so enabling. Grab your copy here... Your friends will get the ebook instantly when they subscribe. There is no need to email it to them. It is a gift to our subscribers. Read more about Die Wilgers Suburb in this Newsletter and enjoy the beautiful Jacarandas!

FEATURED STORIES Our president, Jacob Zuma, was awarded a prestigious African President of the Year award 2009 on Tuesday. South Africa again on the map. The U.N. General Assembly declared July 18 "Nelson Mandela International Day" to mark the South African former president's contribution to peace. Off course we are looking forward to welcoming the parliament in Gautent if what our deputy president's statement is anything to go by. Its about time MPs come to the people, dont tell Cape Townians I said that. |
