Finally, My Pretoria Guide is out. I must say it feels great to be sharing my love for Pretoria with you today. My plan is to have this Newsletter delivered monthly, we'll see how that goes. So the next issue will be at your door step mail in May.

Time does fly actually. It’s already approaching winter. The hot chocolates, the scarves, the boots and hoods have to come out. Don’t you love the idea of winter without coats? That is Pretoria, South Africa for you. I like the winter weather but I miss the lilac Jacaranda flowers. Guess we can’t have the best of both.

Today we are reminding you of the existence of the Bronkhorstspruit town. As the title of the newsletter suggests, it started out as a railway station and is now a small farming town at the border of Pretoria and Mpumalanga province.
