Casual Day Music Festival , 02 September 2011 Casual Day is one of the biggest fund- and awareness-raising events in South Africa (SA) for people with disabilities and organisations catering for the needs of people with disabilities. The Casual Day project is managed by the National Council for Persons with Physical Disabilities in SA. As customer, the Department of Defence (DOD) participates actively in the planning and execution of all activities.
The DOD will again demonstrate its commitment to raise money and awareness for people with disabilities by supporting the 2011 Casual Day campaign. The theme for this year’s Casual Day is “Worn to be Wild”.
The DOD in conjunction with the Curamus Association is arranging a Casual Day event on Friday 02 September 2011 at the Pretoria Military Sport Grounds in Thaba Tshwane (previously known as Voortrekkerhoogte). The event promises to be spectacular, as a “Worn to be Wild”- parade (dressed according to Music theme), a Casual Day Singing Star Competition,a wheelchair race, flea market stalls, as well as a Music Festival will take place.
You are hereby invited to secure a stall at this spectacular event. The registration fee for a flea market stall is 6 Casual Day stickers (equal to R60).
