Café Bodese has the popular shisanyama (a term used in townships referring to a braai or barbecue where people come together at the venue, buy meat and grill in an open fire) as an additional option. Traditional food is offered on Mondays to wind down the weekend while lamb shanks, offered on a first come first served basis (as there is limited stock), are on the menu on Thursdays to start off the weekend.
