Allied Capital Intl Securities Company from Mr. Paul Smith and Mr. Karabu Zuma

I received an email from Allied Capital Intl Securities Company from a Mr. Paul Smith and Mr. Karabu Zuma stating that I was the beneficiary of a large sum of money.

They did not ask for anything other than my banks name, number, fax number, so they could transfer the money to me. Does such a company exist and is this real.

They listed their address as 11 Nelson Mandella St Pretoria, South Africa

Please get back with me on this matter.

I can bet on this being a scam. We dont have such an address in Pretoria. And the names don't sound legit. The second one with the president's surname makes it more suspicious. I would definitely ignore it Laura.

I also received e-mails from this co. via a Mrs Judith Armstrong,claiming to be in hospital for life saving surgery(cancer). She wanted me to accept $18.5 for distribution to worthy charities,I was entitled to 20%.

How generous Dave. I actually never thought anyone fell for these scam emails until recently, when a woman went into debt whilst waiting for her inheritance.
Anyone who gets an email from this company should look for a recycle bin immediately, and then delete it forever even in that recycle bin. But before that, please report it as spam to your email service provider. If there was this address in Pretoria, I think I would know.

Check with the DTI & CIPRO (it changed to CIPC) be ause if its a registered entity it has to have a registration number and a fixed adress.
Should they not be able to supply these 2 details its a SCAM!!!!!!
